Voices of the Boardman River is a limited radio series aired on Northern Michigan's NPR-affiliate station, Interlochen Public Radio. It explores the history of a controversial river in Traverse City, MI, its environmental restoration led by the Native American tribe, Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa, and why some long-time residents disputed this initiative. Naina pitched the original idea, reported and produced each episode, wrote digital companion articles IPR's website, cut and edited audio, and mixed all epsiodes.
